Meet the Baker

I’m so happy you’re checking out my page, Salty Palm. I have loved baking and trying new recipes since I was little. That's why I started Salty Palm Bakery: to share the joy of being in the kitchen with others. At age seven, I found out I had food allergies, and my mom made sure I never felt left out by what the other kids were eating. Now, it has become one of my biggest passions in life. I think what we put into our bodies matters so much for our physical and mental health so I created this page to be both healthy and delicious. My goal is to offer safe, delicious recipes you can enjoy, even with dietary restrictions, so no one misses out on life’s sweet moments.

Behind the Name

Salty Palm was born when I started culinary school. I have always had a passion for experimenting in the kitchen and helping people learn more about the world of culinary. The meaning behind the name Salty Palm is rooted deeply in the bible verse Matthew 5:13. We are called to be the salt of the earth. In the culinary world, salt is added to pretty much every dish made in the kitchen, even a lot of sweet dishes, because it helps bring out the flavor. If you did not add salt to a dish, it would have less flavor. To me, being the salt of the earth means that I am called to share my passion that God has placed in me with the world, and that starts with Salty Palm.
